Why Counselling

We all have times when we have to face challenges and juggle life; this can be a very stressful time. When we are feeling, sad, alone, stressed, anxious, depressed or having relationship worries these can seem overwhelming. You may feel unable to talk to friends or family for fear of being judged.

It's at times like these that we may need a helping hand, a safe place to talk, someone to talk to without feeling judged and someone who will listen to you.

What is Counselling

Counselling is a talking therapy which takes place in a relaxed, safe, confidential, non-judgemental environment; it is the clients time to talk about their worries.

  • A non-directive approach which means the client has the choice of what they wish to talk about.
  • Working together at your pace
  • Encourages the client to explore their inner self, thoughts and feelings.
  • See problems more clearly or from a different point of view.
  • Challenges negative behaviour and thought patterns.
  • Focuses on feelings, behaviour and experiences; with the aim to facilitate a positive change.
  • For the person to be able to cope with lifes challenges.

Maybe counselling is for you. I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental and professional practice
